    15 die in China coalmine blast

    Fifteen people were killed in a blast at a coalmine in northern China Saturday, Xinhua reported.

    The blast took place around 2.40 a.m. at the Liugou coalmine in Shanxi province's Yicheng county, an official of the provincial government said. The rescue work is currently underway.
